1) FROM ANOTHER RESIDENCE PERMIT FOR RESIDENCE FOR REASONS FAMILIES (Article 30, paragraph 1, letter c, Legislative Decree No. 286/98 and subsequent amendments and additions)

possess an EC residence permit for long-term stays or a valid residence permit with a duration of not less than 1 year issued for subordinate work, self-employment, asylum, subsidiary protection, humanitarian reasons (before conversion into a protective residence permit subsidiary), study, religious reasons, family reasons or possess a residence permit for scientific research regardless of the duration;

2. copy of the certificates certifying the marriage relationship, civil union or family bond translated and legalized by the Italian diplomatic or consular representation in the country of origin or with an Apostille, if they come from a State that is a signatory of the Hague Convention. If the marriage is contracted in Italy, or if the child was born in Italy, the certificate must be issued by the Municipality. In the event of the parents' cohabitation, the extract of the minor's birth certificate is sufficient if it has not already been proven.

3. copy of all other documents required for family reunification:

- certificate of residence or
- documentation relating to the suitability of the accommodation;
- substitutive declaration of notoriety deed regarding the maintenance by the family member;
- copy of the residence permit and passport of the family member;
- documentation certifying the possession of a "minimum annual income deriving from lawful sources of not less than the annual amount of the social allowance, increased by half the amount for each family member to be reunited ..." (Article 29, paragraph 3, letter b, Legislative Decree 286/1998 and subsequent amendments and additions);
minor children also of the spouse or born out of wedlock, unmarried, provided that the other parent, if any, has given his consent;
- in the case of adult dependent children: certification certifying total disability;
- in the case of parents under sixty-five: documentation issued by the competent authorities of the country of origin certifying the life of the dependent and documentation certifying the absence of children residing in the country of origin or of provenance; the documentation must be translated and legalized by the Italian Diplomatic and Consular Representation in the country of origin or provided with an Apostille;
- in the case of parents over the age of 65: documentation issued by the competent authorities of the country of origin certifying that they are dependent and documentation certifying the absence of children residing in the country of origin or of provenance or certifying the existence of documented and serious reasons for health that prevent any other children residing in the country of origin or provenance from providing for the support of their parents (the documentation must be translated and legalized by the Italian Diplomatic and Consular Representation in the country of origin or provided with an Apostille), health insurance or voluntary registration with the National Health Service (postal payment slip). On the day of the photo registration, also show the original and a copy of the formalized registration request to the competent ULSS.

1. copy of the residence permit for study purposes issued by another EU country to a foreign citizen enrolled in a higher technical education or higher education course or in a higher education institution that does not benefit from a Union or multilateral program including student mobility measures or an agreement between two or more higher education institutions;

2. copy of documentation, translated and legalized (or Apostillated) from the academic authorities of the country of the Union in which the foreign citizen previously completed the course of study, which certifies that the study program to be carried out in Italy is complementary to the program of studies already carried out;

3. documentation certifying means of subsistence (postal account or bank account, scholarship, income from work, income of the family member who maintains the applicant with a substitutive declaration of notoriety regarding maintenance);

4. copy of the insurance policy to cover the costs of hospitalization for the period of stay or copy of the certificate of voluntary registration with the National Health Service (postal payment slip for the contribution and formalized registration request to the competent ULSS or health card );

If the foreign citizen who holds a residence permit for study purposes has completed the academic course obtaining one of the required qualifications (first or second level academic diploma, higher technical diploma, three-year or specialist degree, university master, doctorate ... see
Circular of the Ministry of the Interior of 11 March 2009 and Circular of the Ministry of the Interior of 12 October 2009) or has reached the age of majority in Italy and has received a job offer, subordinate or self-employed, may, at any time before the expiry of the residence permit, ask for the conversion of his title without the need for a certificate of existence of a share within the so-called Flows programming decree of inputs.

The Single Desk for Immigration of the Prefecture, once the existence of the conditions (and in particular the existence of a conversion quota when provided for by the specific flows decree) has been verified, prepares the appropriate application (form 209) to be sent via kit post office (Sportello Amico di Poste Italiane). A copy of the residence contract endorsed by the Single Desk is attached to the application.
